Dzoor Translations

If you think in one language and speak in another, things can get ծուռիկ-մուռիկ :)

Growing up in an Armenian speaking house in LA, my brothers and I would often say grammatically incorrect sentences that were direct translations of English thoughts. Sometimes these sentences would be so silly that they would be exchanged as jokes at family gatherings. “What do you mean you lost your soccer game? Do you want me to look for it?”. In the spirit of that humor, I collected a bunch of dzoors from friends in the Armenian diaspora on an instagram page.
